Successful operational efficiency relies on involving frontline employees, as they are the most knowledgeable about daily work problems. An environment must be created that encourages employees to suggest small daily improvements. These simple, cumulative improvements make a massive difference over the long term in the company's efficiency, profitability, and competitiveness.
